A Sort of Homecoming tells the story of Amy, a New York news producer who thought she left her high school experiences long in the past. She unexpectedly returns to Louisiana at the request of her high school debate coach. Their strained reunion brings back memories of her tumultuous senior year of high school.

HOMECOMING is a short film about Drew, a young war vet returning home from Afghanistan. Still processing his horrific experience overseas, Drew contacts his parents to discuss his homecoming. While his mother eagerly anticipates his return, his father holds onto the valiant expectations he has had for his son as a soldier. Heidi Bergman is a caseworker at Homecoming, a Geist Group facility helping soldiers transition to civilian life. Heidi quickly realizes that there's a whole other story behind the story she's been telling herself.

When their mother disappears, a group of siblings are forced to fend for themselves, and make their way on their own. They eventually meet their grandmother, a loner who is reluctant to take them in.

Tiina decides to reconnect with his aged and bohemian father living alone. With her reluctant daughter and new husband, they move in and start to renovate the old house. However, neither the renovation nor facing the past is effortless.
